Applicants must be legal residents of the area served by Nourish & Thrive Resource Center.
Must demonstrate financial need, typically below a certain income threshold as per local median income statistics.
Intending to enroll or currently enrolled in an accredited institution for culinary, trade, or higher education. For culinary scholarships, a preference for programs focused on sustainable and healthy cooking practices.
A minimum GPA of 2.5 (or equivalent) for current students; high school graduates must provide transcripts.
Evidence of 10 hours of community service or engagement, aligning with the values of Nourish & Thrive Resource Center.
Submission of an essay explaining how the scholarship will assist in achieving educational and career goals.
At least two letters of recommendation from non-family members (teachers, mentors, community leaders, etc.)
Complete the Nourish & Thrive Scholarship Application Form.
Provide proof of income, residency, academic records, and any other required documentation.
Nourish & Thrive starts accepting applications for Scholarship beginning October 1st of each academic year.
All application materials must be submitted by January 15th of each year.
